About Shop Muumuu
Muumuu is a small batch collection of timeless women's wear, made locally with ethically sourced linen and natural fibers. Everything is cut, sewn + garment dyed in California.
Our linen is 100% pure, ethically sourced from Japan and Oeko-Tex standard certified.
All of our garments are manufactured in the Mission District of San Francisco and dyed at a family-owned house in Novato, CA.
The Alpaca knitwear is manufactured in Lima, Peru, within a network of family-owned knitting factories. The alpaca yarn is ethically sourced in the highlands of Peru, and the finished product is shipped to the United States via Fair Trade.
Meet Jess

Muumuu is my rebirth + the rebirth of an old dream. My hope is that Muumuu will become more then just a collection of beautiful frocks, but also a collection of the beautiful beings who live, play, work + mother in them.
While muumuu is about natural fibers and feeling at ease in our clothes, we are also about being at ease in our skin (and taking stock of all that it takes to get there, from the inside out and the outside in).
I hope each muumuu you take home will become a staple in your closest for many moons to come. I hope that you can wear and share these pieces through all the seasons of life. And if you are one who often seconds as a napkin for sticky fingers, well, then it's a good thing your muumuu is so durable and washable!
Happy you’re here,
Jess
